Dato Othman Primary School champion
Dato Othman Primary School thrashed Dato Marsal Primary School 4-1 to emerge as the champion of the Brunei Area II A Primary Schools Football Championship at the Berakas Garrison mini stadium yesterday.
Ahmad Wafid Firdaus Abd Rahim of Dato Othman Primary School was also named as the Best Player of the tournament.
Anggerek Desa Primary School and Jalan 49 Lambak Kanan Primary School shared the third place.
Present to give away prizes was the guest-of-honour Colonel Pg Hj Zulkifli Pg Hj Ismail, the
Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF).
A total of 11 primary schools took part in the four-day football tournament organised by the Co-Curriculum Education Department.
